DOWN Clothing ™ is committed to sponsorship as a key component of its marketing campaign. However, the daily requests for sponsorship exceed our ability to respond on an individual basis. Therefore, we have created the following application process to standardize the landslide of requests that come our way.
If you think that you have what it takes to become a member of Team Down, please follow the guidelines below so that your application will receive the attention it deserves.
Once completed your application for sponsorship must be mailed to the following address. We will review and respond to sponsorship requests as time and availability dictate. Be sure to provide complete contact information so we can respond to you in a timely manner. Once submitted, application materials will not be returned.

Request for event sponsorship
(Response must be typewritten/word processed)
Submit your material six months prior to the event start date. Requests received before or after the six-month deadline will not be reviewed.
Following the guidelines below will ensure that your request receives full consideration. Your written proposal must include:
- Location(s) of event or series
- Date(s) of event or series
- Approximate number of participants/competitors
- Description of classes/heats (if applicable)
- Approximate number of spectators
- Event marketing plan
- Specific sponsorship request
- Specific sponsor benefits
- Sponsoring Group status (not-for-profit, youth group, community group, etc.)
- Names and contact information of your Board of Directors or Advisory Board members (if applicable)
- Publicity samples in DVD or DV format (NO VHS) from previous year (if applicable)
- Print samples (or fine quality color copies of merchandise and signage) from previous sponsored events (if applicable)
